La raison de venir à Vestmanna est la présence des falaises au bout de cette ile où nichent des oiseaux.
Je viens seulement de le relire car je n'avais pas de bouquin jusque là.
Par chance, en fouillant dans mon ordi, je tombe sur un Lonely en anglais ... Coooooool je le fais imprimer de suite !!!!L'excursion parait un peu cher : 35€ mais bon ...
La vue des falaises, rentrer dans certaines gorges est tout de même très sympa. Malheureusement il y a peu d'oiseaux à la saison ...
Je poursusis à Sanksun, charmant petit (!) village qui dispose d'un petit musée. Je suis le premier visiteur de l'année (enfin, la saison a commencé aujourd'hui...) !!! c'est dire comme je vais au plus reculé ;)
Sur ma carte, il y a un moyen connexion au bout de la route. pour le prochain village. Au vue de la cascade, il s'agit en fait d'un sentier à pic !!! => je rebrousse donc chemin ... jusque Tjornuvik. Je dors ici, protégé du vent par l'église ...
La vue depuis le village laisse apparaitre les falaises d'Eidi et les 2 rochers qui les devancent.Évidemment, ce genre de rochers a son lot d'histoire datant de plus de mille ans ;) Comme tout ce qui se visite ;)
